Flip and Irene Fouchè are the
founders and proud owners of the GERIMED Health Care Centres.
Carel and Marisa Pieterse help
managed GERIMED and as their parents (Flip & Irene) they
believe in the same vision and have the same passion; to care
for the elderly in the best way possible.
With their vision and passion
GERIMED became a leader in elderly care.
GERIMED started of as Kogelpark
Clinic in Kogelpark Retirement Village and opened their doors
on 1st of July 2001 in Kleinmond with only 1 patient. In 2004
it was renamed to GERIMED to incorporate the new clinic in
Langebaan. GERIMED Langebaan
opened their doors on the 3rd of May 2005 in the Langebaan
Retirement Village.
Today GERIMED consists of 2 Health Care Centres which together
consist of 30 Beds for Subacute, 28 Beds for Frail Care in single and double rooms and
61 Assisted Apartments
The word GERIMED is made up of
Geriatrics + Medical care.
